Mares Our broodmares are fed a diet formulated by Ph.D. Dr. George Dawson to ensure that all nutritional needs are met. Mares and foals have access to pasture, sunshine and are ridden or ponied on the trail through their pregnancies. Foals are well handled and by the time they are weaned, are registered with the WPCSA, Lifetime USEF and USDF and may have been shown in a DSH class or inspected with one of the registries in which Cardi is approved. North Forks Tickle Your Fancy 1991 Section C Welsh Cob Mare (*Synod Gladstone x Penrhyn Nutcracker) At just under 12.2 hh, this dynamo of a mare has produced champions, has won in performance been an in-hand champion and been a high point winner. In 2006, Tickle was American Sportpony Registry inspected and named Site Reserve Champion behind her own colt. Tickle was originally purchased by Grazing Fields Farm and when the farm dispersed, she eventually found her way to Winterlake. She produced three outstanding sport ponies for me, who are now making their marks in Washington and New York.
