Welcome to my farm. Winterlake is located at the southern end of the fertile and beautiful Willamette Valley near Eugene in Western Oregon.
Since 1985, I have been breeding, showing and enjoying my favorite breed, Welsh Cobs. The cob mares and stallions have been selected for their bloodlines, type and movement. Kind temperaments and high rideability/trainability are a given in my herd. I have also selected a few Thoroughbred mares which are known for producing well with the breed. My motto is that I sell my best, and I do. My goal is to produce animals that are suitable for a variety of levels and disciplines to satisfy the amateur to FEI and International competitor and pleasure rider. Winterlake stock have excelled in dressage, jumping, pleasure driving, combined driving, quadrille, as breeding stock, and trail riding. They have won regional and national championships, compete at open venues, and bring great joy to their owners. |
The cornerstone of my breeding program since 2003 is the superstar cob stallion, North Forks Brenin Cardi, bred and acquired from Carol Holcombe. Now co-owned with Jessica Wisdom of Equi-Librium Equestrian, Cardi and Jessica have moved up through the levels of dressage winning many championships at each level. It is our dream for Cardi and Jessica to reach Grand Prix.
